The cobra's thoughts
Words from Dave:
"I was diagnosed with Parkinson Disease in February 2012. Upon hearing there was no cure, I decided to form a foundation to support research to find a cure for Parkinson Disease, while educating the public about the disease, living with the symptoms, treatment options, and improving the quality of life for those afflicted with the disease.
My sister and cousin were also diagnosed with Parkinson Disease years prior to my diagnosis. I feel that my foundation will be helpful for them as well as others with this disease or other neurological disorders.
As in my 19-year professional baseball career, I NEVER let a challenge stop me.
I met each and every challenge with a positive attitude, and did my very best swinging away at every obstacle. I intend to do the same with Parkinson Disease.
Thank you for visiting my website. If you are a Parkinson Disease patient, care giver, or just someone who is interested in learning more about the disease, please visit often."
Dave would love to hear from you!
